Nevada has adopted the identity of being the “weirdest, wildest west”, and I’d have to agree. It’s an out-of-this-world frontier just waiting to be explored. There’s space to roam and adventure to be had.

No trip to Vegas is complete without throwing a few bucks in the slot machines, making your way to the top of the Stratosphere Tower, and experiencing the Fountains of Bellagio on the Las Vegas strip.

But the ultimate Nevada bucket list may also include visits to Hoover Dam, Lake Tahoe, Lamoille Canyon, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, the “Neon Boneyard” (see, weird), Great Basin National Park, the Extraterrestrial Highway (again, weird), and last but not least, Valley of Fire State Park.

Nevada offers the perfect opportunity for parents to be heroes to their kids. There are endless opportunities for fun family activities and experiences that combine great education with great fun.

For the adventure enthusiasts and nature buffs, Nevada’s extraordinary natural resources offer a perfect backdrop for your next thrill.
